In some cases, the original content owner in YouTube has enabled protections that do not allow this to happen, and we must respect their choice.&nbsp; From time to time and without warning, YouTube makes changes that further restrict access to videos in this way, and there is nothing that LPS or MyVideoSpot can do about it.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-114cdb0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"114cdb0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Permissions<\/h4><p>The Permissions setting is one of the most important items for your uploaded video. The default setting is Private.\u00a0Permissions for staff include:<\/p><ul><li><strong>All Users<\/strong> &#8211; Anyone in LPS can find &amp; view the content via a search.<\/li><li><strong>Private<\/strong> &#8211; Only you and those with a higher role in the system can find &amp; view the content via search.<\/li><li><strong>Group Only<\/strong> &#8211; Only those in a group you have created or to which you belong can find &amp; view the content via search.<\/li><li><strong>Teacher and Above<\/strong> &#8211; Anyone listed as a Teacher or higher role in the system can find &amp; view the content via search. (All LPS staff are &#8220;Teachers&#8221; in MVS.)<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3df2c64 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3df2c64\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Groups<\/h4><p>When working with students in MyVideoSpot, it is recommended staff members <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myvideospot.com\/user-guide\/overview-what-are-groups\/\">use a group<\/a> to exchange videos with students. <strong>Groups are automatically created for all Synergy courses<\/strong>, and can be found in the left menu.<\/p><p>Staff can also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myvideospot.com\/user-guide\/creating-a-group\/\">create Groups<\/a> as needed. Groups can be public (open to anyone in LPS) or private (invite only.)<\/p><h4>Teams<\/h4><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myvideospot.com\/user-guide\/overview-what-are-teams\/\">Teams<\/a> are shared workspaces for collaboration. They work similarly to Google Shared Drives. When content is added to a team, everyone in the team can act as an &#8220;owner&#8221; of that content. This is ideal when a team is sharing the workload of a large project, or a person leaves LPS.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-73db9f6\" data-id=\"73db9f6\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-066d637 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"066d637\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Tools for Creation<\/h4><p>The Media Tools in the left menu offer the option to create various sorts of media from within this platform.\u00a0<\/p><ul><li class=\"p2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myvideospot.com\/user-guide\/video-recorder\/\"><strong>Recorder<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Capture video footage from your webcam (or other connected cameras), or audio from your selected microphone.<\/li><li class=\"p2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myvideospot.com\/user-guide\/tool-overview\/\"><strong>Image Creator<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Create or edit an image.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myvideospot.com\/user-guide\/my-studio-layout\/\"><strong>My Studio<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Edit your video with basic trimming, text overlays, green screen, transitions, and audio effects.<\/li><li class=\"p2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myvideospot.com\/user-guide\/managing-showcase-content\/\"><strong>Showcases<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Curate a library of videos displayed on your school or department website.\u00a0<\/li><li class=\"p2\"><strong>MediaSpot<\/strong> &#8211; Create project pages (from templates) that can be shared with a link. You might add a few quick questions to a video, prompt for reflection on an image, or build a short activity. Insights are easy to share with your audience and may contain sections that are auto-graded, with several reporting options. While using the video player:<\/p><ul><li><b>(F)<\/b> plays the video in fullscreen mode<\/li><li><b>(Spacebar)<\/b> pauses\/plays the video<\/li><li><b>(Up\/Down arrow<\/b>) adjusts volume<\/li><li><b>(Right\/Left arrow)<\/b> moves the playhead by 10 seconds in either direction<\/li><li><b>(Number keys 0-9)<\/b> jumps the video to the percent marker on the video.
