Synergy TeacherVUE\u00a0allows you to download\u00a0a spreadsheet of information about\u00a0students assigned to you in each class period. This spreadsheet can be used to create labels, populate contact groups in LPS Google Docs and various other uses.<\/p>\n

Once you have downloaded this information to your computer, please take any necessary steps to secure it from unauthorized viewing and delete it when no longer needed. This information should not be shared with students or non-LPS staff members.<\/h6>\n<\/div>\n

Downloading student data from\u00a0Synergy TeacherVUE<\/h3>\n

\"\"Login to the Synergy SIS and pull up the class\/period you are interested in.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Click the Reports<\/b> tab.<\/li>\n
  2. For “Output Type” select TXT<\/b><\/li>\n
  3. <\/b>Select the appropriate Report (STU608 – LPS\u00a0<\/strong>Class List<\/b>)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Your computer will download a text (txt) file to your computer that contains the information.<\/p>\n

    Using\u00a0the Download<\/h3>\n

    This txt file contains your requested data. It can be used in many ways. Here are some\u00a0common approaches.<\/p>\n

    \"SynergyReportDownloadMac\"<\/a>Open the file in Excel<\/strong><\/p>\n

    As the file downloads, you can have the computer “Open in Microsoft Excel” to see it right away.<\/p>\n

    If the file is downloaded and saved to your computer, you can open the txt file with\u00a0Excel at any time.<\/p>\n

    Put the data in a Google Spreadsheet<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. As the file downloads, have the computer “Save File.”
    \n2. Once it is on your desktop, double-click the txt file to open it. Select all of the text in the\u00a0document and copy it.
    \n3. Open a blank Google Spreadsheet. Select cell A1.\u00a0Paste the text.<\/p>\n
