Teachers must have familiarity with Drive in order to interact with students digitally. It is the central point where digital items can be created, stored, and shared within LPS.<\/p><p><strong>Google Drive is the primary storage location for all devices in Lincoln Public student created video clips. Before sharing with others, you should consider the information you are sharing and who should, and SHOULD NOT have access to it.<\/p><p>Our LPS Google Drive is used by staff AND students. It is a tool that connects your LPS device with your LPS Google Drive storage space. Use it to keep the files on your computer backed up to a safe place automatically.<\/p><h3>Initial Setup<\/h3><p>The Google Drive app on your staff device is not set up by default. You must log in, then tell it what folders (places) on your computer should stay backed up. You can use that tool to sync the Microsoft Office files on your computer with Google Drive for safe keeping, while still opening them on your computer using Word, Excel, PowerPoint if you have them installed.
