Paul Kenney

Paul Kenney is a Lincoln High graduate who came back to LPS to teach. His journey through Lincoln Public Schools comes full circle in this story of his growth and the impact of music education. As a high school band director, he builds community, discipline, and confidence in his students, which he first discovered as an LPS student. Paul found direction through the military, which helped him gain a renewed purpose. In the classroom, he draws on his own experiences to connect with students and support their growth. Through music, he fosters belonging and inspires students to push themselves and find confidence in who they are.
