The Lincoln Public School District offers this testimony as a proponent of LB 303.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

LB 303 proposes positive steps forward through:<\/p>

  • increasing the state commitment to funding PK-12 through existing structures within the TEEOSA formula\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>
  • adjusting the components of the formula in an incremental manner<\/li>
  • representing input from schools<\/li>
  • seeking to address very low levies and therefore the variation in levies across the state<\/li>
  • committing to continuously studying state funding for PK-12 education with a focus on stability.<\/li><\/ul>

    The Lincoln Public School District is dedicated to partnering in any conversations related LB 303.<\/p>
