Lincoln Public Schools applauds Senator Lippincott for introducing this bill which would bring $10M in much-needed resources to address a gap in support of cybersecurity in K12 Education. The Committee should consider what organization is best suited to manage such a large granting program and the value of using block grants since cybersecurity is, by definition, something that is a sustained effort needed by every school district. Whatever the final process, coordinating with statewide organizations such as Network Nebraska Technology Commission and Nebraska Information Technology Commission Technical Panel can help ensure a coordinating and sustained approach at all levels.<\/p><p>John P.
