Learn more about SEL and Second Step on Second Step‘s main website

Check out Second Step’s “Open House Flyers” to learn more about the program based on your child’s grade level below.

Second Step also currently translates “Open House Flyers” into Arabic, Russian, Spanish and Vietnamese. If you would like a translated version, contact one of the individuals listed under the “Questions” section below related to your student’s grade.

Engage with SEL at home

Second Step provides families resources to practice social emotional learning at home related to what your child is learning in the classroom. “Home Links” gives you an overview of the SEL and an activity to help your child further develop SEL skills after school.

Take a look at the two examples below

“Home Links” are available for preschoolers and elementary school students. Second Step also currently translates them into Arabic, Russian, Spanish and Vietnamese.
