Brett has been teaching at Lincoln Public Schools since 2008.<\/p><p>Brett was recently honored with the String Teacher of the Year award by the Nebraska American String Teachers Association (ASTA).<\/p><p>The nomination letter says:<\/p><p>\u201cAside from being a valued member of this organization and secretary at one point, he is a superior music educator and all-around great guy! His students respect and admire him.
