Stephanie Kinnaman teaches at Morley Elementary School and has taught for six years. She was recently named the Nebraska School Librarian of the Year by the Nebraska School Librarians Association.\u00a0<\/p>

It states in the nomination letter:<\/p>

\u201cSteph Kinnaman is a true example of a 21st Century librarian. She is a master teacher who weaves information literacy, digital citizenship, and research skills into highly engaging and well-developed instruction for grades K-5. She leads by example through her teaching of immersive library lessons that provide a solid foundation of literacy and inquiry skills for all students.\u201d<\/p>

\u201cSteph demonstrates professionalism and leadership each and every day through her library instruction, collaborative partnerships, and community involvement. Her library is not only warm and welcoming, it\u2019s a model of great teaching. She\u2019s a master at classroom management and organization.\u201d<\/p>

That the Lincoln Board of Education adopt the following resolution:<\/p>

WHEREAS, Stephanie Kinnaman, school librarian at Morley Elementary School has been awarded Nebraska School Librarian of the Year by the Nebraska School Librarians Association; and<\/p>

WHEREAS, Stephanie Kinnaman successfully facilitates learning and supports student growth through a thoughtfully curated collection of resources that fits their learning needs at Morley Elementary School; and<\/p>

WHEREAS, Stephanie Kinnaman weaves information literacy, digital citizenship, and research skills into highly engaging and well-developed instruction; and<\/p>

WHEREAS, Stephanie Kinnaman is widely admired and respected among her peers, both at Lincoln Public Schools and in the state of Nebraska for her passion and leadership;<\/p>
