North Star High School teacher Coral Su was honored as the 2022 Chinese Teacher of the Year by the Nebraska International Language Association (NILA) and the Chinese Language Teachers of America – Nebraska Chapter (CLTA-NE).The Nebraska International Languages Association is a professional organization dedicated to the support and promotion of the teaching of languages in the state of Nebraska. Anyone who is actively engaged in the teaching of a world language at any level of education in Nebraska is eligible for membership. The organization annually recognizes outstanding Nebraska educators and supporters of world language education at its fall conference.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Coral Su teaches Chinese at North Star High School and was recently awarded the 2022 Nebraska Chinese Teacher of the Year by the Nebraska International Language Association (NILA) and the Chinese Language Teachers of America – Nebraska Chapter (CLTA-NE).<\/p>

That the Lincoln Board of Education adopt the following resolution:<\/p>

WHEREAS, Coral Su, North Star High School Chinese teacher has been named the 2022 Nebraska Chinese Teacher of the Year; and<\/p>

WHEREAS, Coral Su displays a passion for teaching Chinese and works diligently to support students at both the middle and high school levels; and<\/p>

WHEREAS, Coral Su creates engaging lessons that encourage students to explore Chinese and other World Languages; and<\/p>

WHEREAS, Coral Su is valued, respected and admired among her colleagues, not only at her school, but also across the school district and the state of Nebraska;<\/p>
