All students attending Lincoln Public Schools, grades 9-12, are required to meet a Reading Graduation Demonstration Requirement (RGDR) in order to graduate. The RGDR is focused on providing evidence a student has reached an expected high-school level of achievement prior to graduation. This requirement is met through performance on the MAP Growth Reading Grades 6-12, by meeting or exceeding specified scores on other assessments, through specified course work, or by meeting a requirement defined in a student’s IEP.
The MAP Growth Reading is offered each fall and spring. Students who do not pass the exam retake it in subsequent years, until the exam standard is met or a student meets the demonstration through other means.
