*This is a trial run timed for the July 18 national exam. This course DOES NOT register you for that exam. See national test registration details below. In order to have the class, we need at least 16 students to register. You will be contacted via email after registration for payment and all subsequent class communication.

The Nebraska Department of Education and ACT have announced that LPS 2019-2020 juniors (graduating class of 2021) who were unable to participate during April in-school testing will have an opportunity to take the ACT on September 22 at no cost. We will communicate information about how to sign up and the schedule as soon as we have that information from coordinators. The fall testing will not include the writing portion and scores will not be used for accountability. This testing opportunity is different than ACT National (Saturday) Testing.

Students interested in national (Saturday) testing can register on the ACT.org website for a fee.

Please note: ACT Saturday testing is run by ACT. They directly hire staff to oversee the administration, scheduling the test, reserving facilities, registering students and communicating with students who have registered. The only role LPS has in Saturday testing is providing access to the facility if they reserve it, and LPS does not have control over any specific aspects of the testing. Because of this, we cannot directly communicate with families who have students registered for the June or July ACT test, as we don’t have access to who has registered. If you have questions about ACT Saturday testing, please contact ACT.

We are NOT holding a summer session in June. We MIGHT have a session in July. We are still considering a possible opportunity for mid-July to accommodate the July 18 test date, but it would likely be a remote or online option, not a person-to-person experience due to the ongoing public health concerns. A decision will be made the first week of June and be published here and through LPS communications.
