Why Learn Another Language?

While World Language is not a graduation requirement for Lincoln Public Schools, there are many advantages to learning another language.  It is an entrance requirement for higher education but some other advantages include higher academic achievement, learning of other cultures, and many cognitive benefits.  Click on the link from The American Council for Teachers of Foreign Languages to read more:  http://www.actfl.org/advocacy/what-the-research-shows
