1.75 hours required:  Social Studies and Reading/Language Arts Connections

Close reading and responding in writing are components of both the Social Studies and Reading/Language Arts curriculum.  In this session we will discover HOW they are similar or different in the two areas and why .  Updates to the 3-5 Social Studies curriculum and Reading/Language Arts curriculum will also be shared. This will include a vertical look at the teaching of TDA from second to sixth grade.
