Beechner Athletic Complex is located on the West side of Lincoln High School: 2229 J Street
The Beechner Athletic Complex is located where the Lincoln High School Oval was established in 1923 as a football field and quarter-mile track. The complex was named for Ralph Beechner, head football coach at Lincoln High School, and Athletic Director (1937 – 1950).
The Pfeiff Field is named for Bill Pfeiff, head football coach at Lincoln High School, from 1946 to 1955. His teams won the football championships in 1951, 1952 and 1954.
Scott Track is named for Harold Scott, head coach at Lincoln High School, for track and field from 1954 to 1982. As a high school athlete, Scott won the long jump (21” 8”) in 1935 and the pole vault (11’ 10 ½”) in 1936.
Director of Athletics
Kathi Wieskamp coordinates high school athletics directly with high school athletic directors. She also schedules shared athletic field space.
Assistant Director of Athletics
Adam Bonesteel oversees middle school athletic programs and intramurals, as well as assisting with high school athletics. He works directly with activity directors at the middle school level.
